Because, Who Doesn’t Need a Little Glow?
The idea for Sunbright Nightlight came about from necessity, which is the mother of invention. One snowy night Sarah Jane, a mother of 4, came home from work late. Her husband had put the kids to bed and said the youngest was fussing. When she went in to comfort him she realized his nightlight was out and now he was quite upset. She went outside and dusted the snow off the top of the solar light, pulled the bottom part off, put it in a window candle holder left over from Christmas and placed it on the window. It was the perfect glow that settled him down and off to sleep he went. Imagine her surprise the next night when the solar light that had been in the window charging up all day from the sun was again a nightlight.
A Small Spark Turned Big Idea
Fueled by the idea of using solar technology to solve an every day problem, Sarah Jane then studied solar and played around with different designs. With massive encouragement from her family, she patented her invention. A Solar Powered, Window Mounted, Nightlight. Which she affectionately calls Sunbright Nightlight
